CASHIER
Cashier’s duties include welcoming customers, responding to their questions, assisting them to find things and making suggestions or recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications:
Wanted: previous experience in a customer position within the operating environment of a retail / FMCG store.
Wanted: 50% of maths and 50% of English at Grade 12.
Important: Grade 12
Wanted: genuine credential for retail/business management.

Targets for job:
To make sure that the cash is kept safe at all times.

Promoting the Clicks’ clubcard proactively and recruiting new members of the clubcard to meet the objectives of inclusion in the clubcard.
Must perform and manage efficiently both merchandising and general housekeeping tasks in line with quality of store and visual merchandise.
Assisting the Group’s dream of being the first choice health and beauty retailer for the consumer by implementing and guiding the values of the company.
To offer superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being recognizable and offering a competent and friendly service.
For the prompt and effective enforcement of all operating operations at the point of sale.
Keep current awareness about products, ranges, promotions and activities to give consumers correct information at all times.

Maintaining high levels of accuracy when checking products and receiving payment for purchased goods, including clubcard incentives for action.
Informing customers about the deals so as to have a positive effect on sales and to make sure that customers feel good and pay less.

To make sure that there is continuity of excellent service through the emphasis on self-development and product awareness and the sharing of product details with support staff
