REQUIREMENTS :
Adult Education and Training (AET) Level four or equal (Grade 9). Basic grasp of Policies (Batho Pele Principles, Patients Right Charter, Occupational Health and Safety, Six Priorities and National Core Standards).

Physical capacity to function heavy obligation cleansing machines and capability to function responsibilities that requires transferring heavy equipment. Ability to work beneath pressure. Knowledge of cleansing approaches and fundamental information of the health systems.

Must be organized to work shifts which includes, fixed, after

DUTIES :

Cleaning of flooring (sweep, mop and buffing with cleaning machine). Cleaning of walls, windows, doors, window frames, bathrooms, toilets, dusting etc. cleansing corridors, public toilets, offices, clinics, entrances, stairs, hearth escapes, lifts, passages, ready areas and carpets.

Clean physique fluids (urine, blood & feaces) and vomit. Removal of customary and clinical waste. Cleaning packing containers and knocking down of cardboard boxes. Adhere to the Healthcare waste administration coverage and contamination manipulate prescripts.

Operate heavy responsibility cleansing machines. Provide a smooth and hygienic environment. Clean outdoor (surrounding backyard the door of the Ward) by way of sweeping, choosing up papers, cigarette stumps and different objects daily. Report damaged cleansing machines and tools to Supervisor.

Cleaning of tools and machines every day after use and save it in a protected secured and lockable area. Wear protecting apparel (gloves, mask, goggles and disposal apron) at all times.

Completion of each day work things to do on cleansing test lists for bogs and Wards/Departments. Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Perform different responsibilities as allotted with the aid of the supervisor.

Be inclined to endure non-stop education and improvement programs. Attend conferences and education as accepted by way of supervisor. Comply with the Performance Management and improvement programs.
