ABOUT THE BURSARY PROVIDER – CYRIL RAMAPHOSA FOUNDATION & CRET
The Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust( CRET) Bursary Programme was formed by the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation, with the end of furnishing fiscal backing to scholars from financially underprivileged backgrounds, who demonstrate strong academic results and would else not be suitable to go to study further.
The Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation is an independentnon-profit organisation that aims to improves lives of South African youth and creates openings through education and enterprise development.
The history of the Foundation dates back to 1996, when chairman Cyril Ramaphosa started furnishing bursaries for underprivileged scholars to attend university, through plutocrat earned from his public speaking engagements. The Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust( CRET) was also formed in 2000, grounded on this charge.

ABOUT THE CRET BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED
The Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust( CRET) is inviting scholars to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2023 academic time.
Bursaries will be awarded for studies in ANY field( entry position/ first time study module/ undergraduate).
The CRET bursary aims to give backing to scholars who may else be overlooked by other bursary programmes – the programme considers the holistic requirements of campaigners, their eventuality, and pupil who with enough support, nurturing and mentoring, will come leaders of the future.
ABOUT THE CRET BURSARY PROGRAMME – Content VALUE, RENEWAL & SERVICE CONTRACT
The bursary may give cover for the following charges education freights, books and other literacy accoutrements , accommodation, refections, and a small living paycheck( where motivated). The total value of the bursary is dependent on the specific need of the pupil, and is aimed at covering essential charges. The bursary is limited at a certain value, which will be bandied with the pupil before the Bursary Agreement is inked.
The bursary is awarded for 1 academic time at a time and will be renewable grounded on certain criteria( including academic results, commitment to the programme, communication programs and other criteria to be bandied with successful donors).
Bursary donors are NOT needed to work back/ pay back the bursary after scale, still they will be anticipated to “ pay it forward ” by helping fellow members of their community.

ELIGIBILITY Conditions FOR THE CRET BURSARY
aspirants must satisfy the following minimal entry criteria before applying( please note that failure to satisfy all the conditions will lead to your operation not being considered)
You must be a South African citizen
You must have a valid South African ID number
You must be between 16 and 27 times old
You must be studying or intend on studying towards any entry position or first time study module/ undergraduate qualification
You must be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification that’s NOT longer than 5 times
You may be in any time of study
You must be studying or have applied to study at a recognised and accredited public tertiary institution in South Africa( University, University of Technology, TVET College or CET( chops development) College)
You must have a strong academic record
You must have a strong communication chops
You must have strong leadership and compassionate chops
You must have high values
You must be in fiscal need, with a total ménage income of NOT further than R650 000 per annum
Preference will be given to scholars pursuing studies in essential and scarce chops fields, as determined by the Department of Labour, colorful SETAs, and other labour and profitable counsels
