Who we are
Netcare Education’s Faculty of Nursing and Ancillary Healthcare( FNAH) is devoted to developing the clinical knowledge and practical chops of nursing scholars, nursing interpreters and other healthcare professionals.

This is achieved through combining proposition with existential literacy in hospitals, thereby furnishing the stylish literacy occasion for developing knowledge, chops, station and values. Accreditation and enrollment credentials
The FNAH has been an accredited private nursing education institution since 1989. It’s accredited with the South African Nursing Council( SANC) as a private nursing education institution and Netcare Education( Pty) Ltd, is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private advanced education institution.

Strategic mates
University of the Witwatersrand
Netcare Education and the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg have entered into an association agreement to give programmes in nursing education in terms of the Nursing Act, No 33 of 2005( as amended) the Advanced Education Act No 101 of 1997 and other applicable health legislation, to scholars registered with Netcare Education for the programmes in Clinical Nursing wisdom( Regulation 212) as well as for advanced warrants. The University of the Witwatersrand provides backing with in the academic governance processes and is thus represented at Netcare Education’s chamber and council meetings.

Open Learning Group
The Open Learning Group( OLG) provides logistical and executive support to Netcare Education scholars as well as logistics operation services to Netcare Education, including pupil and executive support and marketing.

Alignment with National Qualifications Framework
Formal nursing programmes are aligned to the National Qualifications Framework( NQF). As similar, they reflect the separate NQF position, number of credits, issues and assessment criteria. This ensures that the credits earned by successful campaigners could count towards public South African Qualifications Authority( SAQA) registered qualifications and might be considered for recognition of previous literacy, thereby opening openings for farther literacy.
Language of instruction
All programmes are presented in English, and scholars are needed to have a minimal English language capability at NQF position 4.
